As an interior designer, I have always loved vintage furniture. Pieces that are known for their exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and unique character. For decades I have shopped for new interior furnishings and materials for clients. I was becoming more and more disappointed with page after page of the same thing over and over...Much of the newly produced furniture is copied, mainstreamed and listed over and over. But then, I had some clients who loved traditional high end furniture and we decided to look for vintage furnishings instead. I became obsessed with the treasure hunt and my love of design and furniture was renewed. I had become jaded and board with the lack of quality, choices and style. And the idea that I could bring new life into my design with not new pieces, lead to me wanting to switch my whole focus. And now I am refocused on finding the classics and refinishing, reupholstering and creating beautiful furnishings for those who want refinement.
