We do not often have direct access to original owners, but when available, we include believed provenance based on seller history, estate documentation, or collector notes. We sometimes consult with experts, study auction histories, and compare similar documented pieces to establish provenance. We also use advanced tools—including custom Antique and Vintage expert AI agents—to cross-reference imagery, materials, and historical context.
For especially valuable items, we may consult with professional appraisers and provide certificates of authenticity when available. All information is presented in good faith and deemed reliable, though some details may be anecdotal or based on visual comparison. As such, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy, but we always welcome questions and are happy to share our research process.

Shipping & Insurance
We insure every shipment to protect against loss or damage in transit. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and item so we can initiate a claim and will issue a refund where appropriate.

Vintage and antique items are rarely perfect. We make every effort to document and disclose any flaws, wear, or patina in the listing. If you have questions about an item’s condition before purchase, we’re happy to provide additional photos or details.
